I’ve been feeding my dog YoDoggo for 3 years (since I brought her home as a pup) and she still loves every single meal! I’ve had many dogs before her and it was always frustrating finding nutritious and yummy meals for them which always led to appetite and feeding issues. YoDoggo takes all of that out of the equation and makes meal times super fuss free and also always a fun affair!

Our whippets have been on Yodoggo for one and a half years now. Rajiv has been extremely helpful with recommending the correct amount of food based on age and weight and this is very much like a fuss free meal plan. Our dogs were previously on a raw diet but we are now Yodoggo converts due to how convenient and space saving it is while still ensuring a superbly high quality diet. Dogs are lean and very healthy. Definitely a lifelong supporter!

YoDoggo is a gently cooked, freeze-dried dog food. It uses human-grade meat, organs, fish, veggies, seeds, and natural ingredients. It delivers the nutrition of fresh food with the convenience of dry food.
Think of it as instant, home-cooked food for dogs. Just add hot water, wait a few minutes for it to rehydrate and cool, and it becomes fresh, gently cooked food again. It’s freeze-dried, not heat-processed, and has no preservatives. This means it keeps its natural nutrition and taste. So, it’s healthy, tasty, and nutritious—just like home-cooked meals, but much easier to prepare.
Gently cooked means the food is prepared using controlled time and temperature conditions defined by recognised food-safety standards to kill harmful bacteria, while being gentle enough to preserve the quality, flavour, and nutritional integrity of the ingredients.
Freeze-dried is a preservation process called sublimation. After cooking, the food is frozen and placed under vacuum. As it is slowly warmed, the frozen moisture turns directly into vapour without becoming liquid, removing moisture without the use of high heat.
The finished food has very low moisture content, typically below 5%, as verified through routine moisture testing. Without moisture, bacteria and mould cannot grow, allowing the food to be stored safely without artificial preservatives.
Because no high heat is used during drying, the taste, texture, and nutrition of the gently cooked food are retained. When you add hot water at home, the food rehydrates and cools, becoming fresh, gently cooked food again.
Most freeze-dried foods are freeze-dried raw diets. YoDoggo is different because our food is gently cooked, then freeze-dried — our base diets are not raw. When you compare brands, the key difference is in the food’s nutritional value and quality, not just the freeze-drying process.
